E-Recharge is a SMS-based credit transfer facility that enables all Hala prepaid customers to transfer credit from their account to any other Hala customer.
It is ideal for customers, who have no cash at hand to buy a recharge card, or customers travelling abroad or in rural areas where no recharge cards are available. The activation of the service is free.
Service charge is 10bz per request.
How to use E-Recharge?
Customers can visit any of the Ooredoo Stores across Oman and purchase talk-time credit electronically through E-Recharge. Credit can be purchased in denominations as low 100 Bz or as high as RO 1000. E-Recharge purchases of RO 50 and above will get a discount of 5.25% at all Ooredoo Stores.

Ooredoo has partnered with Oman Arab Bank to offer you more convenient, innovative and customer-friendly ways of recharging your Hala prepaid account.
At a branch:
Visit any Oman Arab Bank branch and ask to recharge any Ooredoo Hala prepaid account. Receive an instant confirmation from Oman Arab Bank via a printed receipt and an SMS confirmation message from Ooredoo that your Hala prepaid account has been credited electronically with the amount of credit requested. This service is available free of charge.
At a FastBank Centre:
Hala prepaid customers can recharge their Hala account at any Oman Arab Bank self-service FastBank Centre. Visit any OAB FastBankCentre, enter your telephone number and any credit between RO 1 and RO 999. The system will then electronically transfer the requested amount to your prepaid account.
Ooredoo Hala prepaid customers can use BankMuscat electronic channels such as Cash Deposit Machines, ATMs, Online Banking and Call Centre to recharge their account. All recharging services are free of charge and are provided real time.
Now experience even more choice and convenience in recharging, with the freedom to select any amount from a minimum of RO 1 to a maximum of RO 100 per transaction.
Recharge via Easy Deposit Machines (CDM):
If you are a Hala prepaid customer but not a current BankMuscat customer, you can recharge your Hala prepaid account by visiting any of the over 30 BankMuscat Cash Deposit Machines in Oman.
